We are right on Las Canteras beach, which is to say, a privileged spot in Las Palmas, at the widest point of the beach.
Nothing can be better than a stroll in mid-afternoon, as typical Canaries dwellers do, along the fabulous Canteras esplanade, cooled by the soft breeze from the Atlantic, watching the sun go down beyond the silhouette of the Teide. It’s also an excellent place for running and for beach volleyball.
The district in which the hotel is located is surrounded by all the commodities offered by a big city: shops, restaurants, fashion… after all, when you are in the centre of Las Palmas you are in the fifth most important city of Spain.
Our proximity to Santa Catalina Park (a 4-minute walk away) situates us in the neighbourhood next to the central hub of Las Palmas, where everything happens, as well as everyday life. In Santa Catalina Park the Miller Building is also to be found, which houses a large number of cultural activities.
What’s more, the 30 bus connects Santa Catalina Park with the airport.
By public transport it’s easy to reach even the charming districts of Vegueta and Triana and to admire some of the Canaries’ great treasures, like the Pérez Galdós Theatre, Columbus’s House or the Caja de Ahorros Bank of the Canary Islands Enterprise Centre.
